Once you make your reservation with Great Ocean Condos and Homes, we will process your deposit (usually within 24 hours) and email you a personalized reservation confirmation. Don’t forget to add travel insurance when you book!

Reservations: An initial down payment of $500 per reservation is required at time of booking and is non-refundable from Great Ocean Condos and Homes. Final payment is due in full 30 days prior to arrival. In the event of cancellation, refunds must be obtained from Red Sky Travel Insurance (if you elected to purchase travel insurance) and are subject to their policies and conditions. To protect against the loss of your rental payments, travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Rental Contract: You will receive a digital rental contract via email. Please read and sign with 48 hours of booking. Please note that a signed rental agreement is required prior to your check in date in order to access the property you reserve.

File a Claim with Red Sky Travel Insurance

If the need for cancellation arises, it should be requested in writing by email to info@greatoceancondos.com. For cancellation requests received more than 30 days prior to Date of Arrival, a refund will be issued less a $250 Cancellation Fee. Any reservation cancelled within 30 days of arrival will result in no refund. There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures. Refunds for cancellations, changes or shortened stays due to actual or anticipated hurricanes, tropical storms or other inclement weather will not be issued under any circumstances. Refunds for natural disaster damage that make the property un-occupiable will not be issued under any circumstances. Refunds for events that may render the unit, area and/or amenities unavailable (to include but not limited to; natural or man-made disaster, technical glitch, maintenance, pandemic, endemic, travel bans, health concerns, state of emergencies, ordered evacuations, local venue closure, community amenity closure, beach closure and/or the property remaining as a Great Ocean Condos and Homes rental at the time of the guests stay) will not be issued under any circumstances.
 
To protect your vacation in these circumstances, we highly recommend that you consider purchasing Travel Insurance.

Check in time is 4pm on the day of your arrival. Check out is 10am on the day of your departure.

Early check-ins are not allowed. Guests who are found checking in early will immediately have their card charged $300 as an early check-in fee. This is necessary to avoid interrupting guests checking out that day, and to ensure your unit is clean and maintained prior to your stay.

Late checkouts are not allowed. Guests who are found in the unit past 10 am will be charged a $200 late check-out fee. This is to ensure our inspection, cleaning, and maintenance crews have full access to complete their duties at each property in a timely manner.

No, once your reservation is paid in full you can expect to receive your guest portal link containing your check in instructions and door/lock codes. Unless otherwise stated by a Great Ocean Condos and Homes reservationist.

We prefer that you check in between 4pm and 6pm to ensure that our staff is available to help should you need assistance when you arrive. If you arrive after normal business hours, please note that you will only have access to our emergency service phone line and there may be delays in response. If your request is not deemed an emergency by our after-hours agent, these requests will be answered the next day. Access issues are considered emergencies and will be addressed immediately.

We provide “starter packs” of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher soap and bar soap. This likely will not be enough to last you throughout your stay. Please provide any additional toiletry and cleaning items at your own discretion, including laundry soap.

We provide standard linens and towels to accommodate the unit’s bed and bathroom set up. We do not provide beach towels or additional blankets, comforters, etc. If you feel as though you may need these items, please bring them from home.

Yes, Our kitchens are stocked with all basic kitchen utensils and cookware. Please view the written description of the property you have rented for any potential additional accommodations.

We recommend you bring your own beach chairs as beach service is not offered at all units. Beach towels are not provided.

Most of the units and buildings are equipped with Wi-Fi. For more information about your specific unit, please contact a Great Ocean Condos and Homes agent regarding the specific amenities of your individual unit.
